Conrail 890727 is a Pullman Standard 4750 CF covered hopper, one of 300 class H56A cars that were leased by Penn Central and carried over to Conrail. With an endless pool of freight cars to re-paint, often a quick re-stencil was done to mark the car and keep it on the rails. This Intermountain model came decorated for Penn Central, and was modified through weathering and decals to be similar to a photo I found on the Conrail Historical Society website of 890580. I added the air line, cut bars, and new air hoses, and removed the roofwalks during the weathering process. Some of these PC painted cars stuck around well into the 1990's amazingly enough, with a few still out there in CR paint under NAHX and INFX reporting marks.
